OMG, I cannot believe you just posted this! This is one of my favorite Penthouses of all time, and almost certainly my favorite article. I keep stacks of old Penthouse, Oui, Playboy, etc around (it’s an idea I got from Dov Charney’s house) so i found it by accident. The club parking lot Mike Suicide talks about in the beginning is where PARIS HOUSE (a l.a. strip club where you can supposedly fuck the strippers) is now, I believe - I think about it every time i see the opening slamdance party in Repo Man. The best part about the article is reading about [los angeles] punk at it’s birth, rather than the romantic posthumous essays one usually finds.
