I mean, yeah we do alright for ourselves. The Nobuyoshi Araki art show at Prism and after party / Oscar party at Trousdale was pretty hot last night. I love the Ed Ruscha, Alexander McQueen, and KAWS on the walls in Brent’s new club.

Ahhhh! So much love for Veronica Mars circa 2004… damn. 2004. I think that’s Willa Holland on her shirt.

“All I want to know is where I’m going to die, so I’ll never go there.”

Charlie Munger’s greatest ambition, via the Berkshire Hathaway 2009 Annual Report.

The annual report is very interesting, and reveals a lot about the evolution of business since the post-war era and the progression of how we function and operate, both on a societal and on an individual level.

I have a personal bias for Charlie and Berkshire Hathaway, but the common sense approach they apply to business standards and ethics is enviable in this world where people take less and less accountability for their decisions, and where we seem to be “innovating” ourselves out of any tangible products or work… running blindly in the direction of every new trend without considering their sustainability or future implications.
